The Environmental Sciences deal with all processes in the animate and inanimate environment of humans, as well as the effects of humans on the environment.

The Environmental Sciences course is free of admission!
Study
The Environmental Sciences programme is a Bachelor's/Master's programme. In the Bachelor's programme, which normally lasts 6 semesters, the student receives the basic knowledge in physics, chemistry, geology, ecology, biology, law and economics. Topics such as climate, energy technology, environmental analysis, environmental technology, microbiology, etc. are covered.
This knowledge can then be deepened in a regular 4-semester Master's programme.
Career Prospects
Environmental scientists work on the conception, planning and justification as well as the management, design and implementation of environmentally relevant projects. They are environmental, waste and hazardous substance representatives in companies, offices and authorities or experts in the preparation of ecological studies.
